Hello! I am Nathan Keith. I was born in the Naval Hospital in Tillamook. At ten my family moved to Corvallis and I did my first cycling century by cycling from Tillamook to Corvallis and I have been on a continuous adventure ever since. I spent part of my high school years in Switzerland attending der Unterseminar des Kanton Zurich in Kuesnacht, returned to obtain a BS in Mathematics from Oregon State University, and later received masters from Saint Martins University and Stevens Institute of Technology. I am a techie at heart, with several computer certifications. I started my tech journey utilizing main-frame computers and programming in languages like ALGOL, FORTRAN, RPG, and COBOL; have worked on main-frames, mini-computers, super mini-computers, servers, PC, etc.

Back to the adventures, over half of my adult life has been spent overseas, six years in Asia and 17 years in Europe. I speak good German, or so my German friends attest, however, my oriental languages, Chinese, Korean & Japanese, are being lost due to little use but I maintain a love of Oriental food, culture, and art. My German and Scot roots continually tug at my wife and me where we have many friends.

So why am I part of the Keith-Lachmann Group? This is part of the continuing adventure. I retired twice but my wife kept sending me back to work, so knowing that there are no jobs available but more work than anyone could do I teamed up with Chris to do all the work.
